I have a 1969/70 Victor Special and need a chain guard.  I have seen this on Ebay;

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BSA-CHAIN-GUARD-250-350-441-B25-B40-B44-VICTOR-STAR-CHAINGUARD/223458111550?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dc0d7a1d30640475bbe2390505decd7f9%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D283435738620%26itm%3D223458111550&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Aff198cc2-5c89-11e9-8292-74dbd180b863%7Cparentrq%3A0db834d916a0add897645e27fff2849b%7Ciid%3A1

It's a second hand item from the US and requires quite a lot of repairs and will cost a lot to ship and import.  But it is the correct one for my bike.

Also for sale on Ebay is the following:

This is for an earlier version of my bike and the rear bracket is different, but but an easy mod.  Does anyone know whether the second (earlier, new, undamaged, much cheaper etc.) guard is the same dimensions as the correct one for my bike?  If so I can buy and modify.

Thanks for your help in anticipation.....
