got a customers WM20 in for fueling problems its a 1941 machine but has a later 1947 XB33 motor fitted.
as usual I have cleaned the carb (ultrasonic) and checked it round, seems fairly worn but according to my Amal catalogue and on line site it should be a 289G/1AT. the one fitted is a 276/014R . cant find a bike after 1940 that has this carb fitted and Amal website does not list current specs for this carb.
any idea what bike it would have fitted as need to know if its useable or not adequate for the 500 single thanks

ps another possibility , does anyone have a 289G/1AT lying around  ;D, I can clean and rebuild if needed

Some information on the 276/014R below.

thanks Julian
so it looks like it is a standard M20 carb. so although not standard on the WM20 it should do for now as has bigger main jet..
the Amal catalogue only lists from 1940 on.
