light switch wireing

Hi all ,still working on my 61 Super rocket , brought a "Gold star type headlamp " with a separate ammeter and switch ,trouble is the Haynes diagram isn't much help ,staying 6 volt  positive earth  with a DVR reg box ,is a wiring diagram available for this combination ? or should I build my own .
