a65 lightning running like a pig

anybody out there using wassell carbs as areplacement for tired original amals!!!pulled mine off cleaned em ,throttle slides had to be pried out out with force.bodys probably warped by o/tighnting previous owners. cleaned all jets float bowls etc.new coils to go with existing electronic ign will start and runs but adjustment to air etc seems to have no effect .any ideas or help appreciated cheers john

yeah think your right .its an availability of said carbs but have just got hold of a pair of brand new ones will fit them sat and see what happens (joy I hope)CHEERS MATEY
