I'm having problems finding one for a rigid B31; I've tried Draganfly, Burton Bike Bits and C&D with no luck.  Can anyone recommend any other sources? (The B31/33 is my first BSA since my Bantam in the early 80s, so I'm still finding my way around these things!)

Thanks, Mark.

Have you tried Autocycle?

Or Bantam John, Sheffield British Motorcycles?

If you have exhausted the UK suppliers try the USA;

Hi  :)

You might find it quicker to borrow one as a pattern and have one made.
Incidently, when I do this I have a couple made cos once someone sets up a lathe an extra is really not very expensive,

Thanks for the replies; the search continues...

Hi.

I have just found a spindle in amongst my bits. It is most probably BSA but I don't have a clue which one. Definitely Not A series. If you can let me have your required dimensions I'll check it out to see if its any good to you. As far as I can see its brand new and I vaguely remember buying it in error some time back in the Roman ages. (But then everything is "vaguely" so it could have been last week)

Hi :)

Brief follow up. The spindle that I have is  7:1/16th long   and 11/16th diameter. Thread =22TPI. If you think its right and want to try it  I'm happy to send it for the postage. If its not what you just send it back. I'll have a quick check around for a sensible equivalent price.
