Magdyno pickups

A word of warning if buying magneto spares. I bought a pickup for my magdyno from Classic Bike Spares eBay shop. Although listed as for K1F and K2F mags it had a quoted part number of 463066 which is the part number for an MO1 magdyno pickup. So I thought it should be ok.
It arrived today and it doesn't fit. What they have send me is part number 458876 which fits some K2F magnetos but definitely not an MO1.
What's worse, eBay want to charge me £3.75 to return it.😡
I have taken this up with Classic Bike Spares and I am awaiting their reply.

Classic Bike Spares has sent me free return label for a refund and have been interested to know about the part number issue.
It appears that they, and nearly every eBay seller are quoting 463066 as the part number for a pickup that fits some K2F mags with screwed on pickups and and 458876 for pickups for a magdyno. All of them have the part numbers swapped for some reason!

Thanks for the heads up, its not the first time I've seen something similiar, they must all copy each other's ads.
My pattern brushes fitted fine, I was swapping the new brushes to the original springs only to find I had one original spring and one pattern one away way. >:(

Yes I have received K2F HT gasket but ordered MO1 from dragonfly. They mix up things from time to time.

At least you got something. Most of their stock seems to be on back-order these days..

That's odd, as I told Ebay tonight that I wanted to return an item (a pair of fork gaiters that were far too small) and they said they would send me a free posting label.

It may be what reason you selected for the return. Some mean you pay, some they pay.  Its a bit of a game.

Exactly. I chose "Doesn't fit" which was the only option that was correct. I can't recall the options but "Not as described" would have been better. I also found, rather annoyingly, that once I had selected an option I couldn't change it. So beware if returning anything on ebay.

My experience exactly, learned about the "once you have clicked" the hard way.
