C15 side stand

Hi,

Is the B40 side stand longer than the C15?  The bike sits almost upright and this make it less stable.

According to the records I have access to Dave, the C15 and B40 centre stands were the same part number (40-4729). Perhaps the one you have is from a trials version? Further to this the centre stands were different part numbers, so I assume this to be taking into account the different wheel diameters of the two models.

Not home so can't check RR, but my fairly sure recollection is that the same side stand is used on the C15 & B40 star....

If I can attach the picci, this is the short off road version ( wot I bought by mistake) so you can check the difference in length.

( it's sitting doing nothing in a box.....so if you reckon it's not too short)

The one fitted measures 10" so the shorter one should be ideal.  I will send a PM

(Just for entertainment: not only was it the wrong one for a B40 star....but I didn't check if my bike had the lug for it.....it doesn't!)
