Im in the process of building a front wheel for my Hornet and lm baffled by the many and varied pieces of advice regarding offset measurement.  I know from previous experience that following the workshop manuals recommended set up results in the rim being  nowhere near the centre of the forks as the original should be! So can anyone supply the correct measurements please. Im using a wm2x19 rim and the correct 8" single sided drum as per 1967 spec. Grateful for any guidance.  Thanks
Dave.

Dibbles question is a good one.
I do hope someone chips in as I need to know a source of info for both wheels on my CB34 competition build (my front is stock scrambler but think my rear is B40 hub).
Is there a summary of different wheel data?
Or should I (can I ?) rely on a commercial wheel builder to know these things as I've heard horror stories of new wheel builds with wrong offset.

I could supply measurements for a wm2 19" wheel with single sided hub, 8" brake but it's off a 1950 plunger A10, not sure if that's any use or relevant?
