Hi,
I recently acquired a d series 350 cc sloper engine is quite good condition. I am interested to know if the frame is the same as the 500? The barrel and head appears a inch shorter so I am not sure if it requires the bend in the horizontal tube above the engine. I am looking for drawings of the frame if available

Any other differences of note between the 350 and 500? I understand the 350 were less common.

Cheers

2 catalogue illustrations from 1929. You can see some differences in the frames.

Thanks Julian

The upright tube under the seat is definitely different. The forks and brake lighter also. I cannot make out whether the horizontal tube has the cut out like the 500 version.

These pages from the 1929 parts book might help.

Another frame view from 1929 catalogue. I think the 500 version.

Hi Julian,

You wouldnt be able to dropbox the 1929 manuals etc? I haven't been able to find in the vintage  club library.
