How not to B33!

Judging from the photo, there seems to be no clearance between the teeth of the inlet cam pinion and the idler pinion, which may create a loud whine when running.
All the teeth look a bit worn, particularly on the half time pinion, and the timing mark is indistinct.
I also notice what looks like a timing mark line on the exhaust pinion at 1 o'clock.
It's difficult to tell from the photo, but I would look closely at the above points.
I'm not sure why there would be no clearance between the teeth...wear in the shaft or bush, wrong parts?
I wonder if someone might be able to post pictures of the pinions, showing what distinct timing marks look like?
I agree with Roy about the 'click' and you can confirm this by putting a piece of cardboard or cloth between the meshing teeth, whereupon the click will disappear.
At the very least, I think you need a new half time pinion.

1-14inch long. Anyone knows what is the thread?

Thanks Derek .Think will order from Dragonfly if they are in stock. All 3 are missing. Kickstart spring home made! ( I have already brought new one luckily). Kickstart stop rubber as well home made! I will go further....scared a bit!

Finally got into the gearbox inside.
I do not like what I see!
I can't remove cluster because of stuck Speedo drive.
Any suggestions how to make it gently?

I'd be a bit wary of buying these selectors. Even the seller doesn't know what gearbox they are from!

I live the selector fork you need is part no. 66-3290. I've found 2 possibles although one is in Australia.

I will try to find full set wit the Shaft.
I made some progress on main shaft....received from the machine workshop.. new bushes seated in the sleeve gear and new kisctart bush made. Costed around 300pln (60quid) with sleeve bush provided by me.

Setup shall be on top gear. I have seen couple of videos.
Is there any picture on the cluster how exactly it shall be set especially selector?
