Civil Defence B40 Tank Logo

[Ray]

Been looking for a long time for a decent photo of the logo on the tank of one of the Civil Defence B40 "CYY" series of bikes. I have a friend who was in the professional print industry as a re-toucher who will make it decent, but I need a better starting point than I have at the moment. Some people have the AFS logo on their tanks but I don't think that that is correct. Maybe a forum member has an original tank with a decent transfer that I can work on. I believe the original looks something like the image attached in the file below but any information gratefully received.

There are some images on the Civil Defence Association website which I would have thought might be a good starting point?

Hi Spaceman

Thanks for the link to the Civil Defence Association website. In all my searching for images I never landed on that site !!

Its interesting that the vehicles group attends shows and rally's so I will have to try and attend one.

That image will certainly be a good starting point for making a transfer

Thank you.
