C15 engine

Hi
I am a total novice and can not sort out my c15 engine.
I am constantly going backwards with it when i am trying to get it running.
Is there anyone who can take it to their  garage/ shed and get it running. I have followed lots of advice etc but still no joy.
This is the last chance to get it running or I get rid of it and pack away my spanners.

I would be glad to help if you are anywhere near Glasgow 

If not I am sure somebody on here could help you out, I think the more people trying to keep the old bikes on the road the better.
