A65 front mudguard

I have just fitted a Yamaha front end to my trike and about to make brackets for the mudguard. What is the clearance between  the tyre and the mudguard.

Ive taken the guards off the A10/Aprilia.
if you want a close fit, I have gone down to a fingers width, depends on how well supported the guard is. The Aprilia was only supported in the centre, the bracket around 40mm wide so thick, , do you have a brace in the middle or BSA style support steadies.

Thanks for that, yes I was thinking about 3/4".

Support steadies. Making the brackets is no problem now I have that info. I have to get that part done before I can make brackets for the lower mudguard stays.
