Split pin

Hey guys
I've got this cylinder head for my 1969 a65t and just noticed that the split pin that restricts the oil flow is missing, so the question is how do you install the slips pin and does it have to be pricier or can something else used

Hi,
    I would use what was originally specified cheap and it works. Its 1/16" dia, 1" long and if the heads off its easy to drop and wiggle it in. Never tried when the head is in place, I guess I would use a thin wire to draw it through.

Cheers mate . Yes head is off so will try and get correct size pin
