Dear All
I need information regarding carburettor for BSA H30-10 from 1930 year 550 cc sidevale engine.
What is carburettor type for this bike (number type)?
I can't find any information regarding this case. I will be grateful for any feedback or some photos.

Stay safe .
Best regards Artur

Hi Artur once again. Attached are two photos of the carburettor fitted to my 1929 BSA H29 557cc side valve. I have been using this bike regularly since I rebuilt it in about 1979. The carb has "76AE/1A?" stamped on the flange . the last digit is unreadable hence the question mark. The carb has an attached float chamber and is one inch bore/intake and is fitted with a size 150 main jet. Hope this helps regards Alan.

Hello Artur,
Further to Alan's reply - I am no expert, but I think that if you can find any Amal Type 6 carb with a 1" bore, it is likely to be suitable. Suitable jets and rebuild kits are available from Burlen Fuel Systems, U.K.
Cheers, Bevan

Originally it would have been fitted with an Amal 6/014 carburettor with a 1" bore, 150 main jet, 6/4 slide and needle in position 3.
BSA 1930s nut.

Trying to collect all 1936 models. Still missing the B3.
