Can anybody identify this 450 single please?

Hi.  I am a newbie based in Cascais Portugal and am interested in this bike as a project. I have attached the only photos I have been sent but I cant work out what model and age it is. Any help would be much appreciated!  Many thanks

Looks like a 1970 season B44 Shooting Star 441cc.

You can see a 1970 catalogue illustration on the BSAOC website;

Thankyou!  That does look like it. The seller wants 3000 euros for it and it clearly needs a lot of work. Do you think that is a reasonable price? The original article looks gorgeous!

I have found one for sale in uk at £2000 so his price is clearly too much! The 1969 B441 may be the bike as it has the same tank badge.
