A65 fork damping

Can anyone tell me when the BSA A65 went from one way damping to 2 way damping. I need to know in particular which applies to my 1967 Spitfire. Any help/info gratefully received.

1966 - 1968 models on got the 2 way damped with the damper rod forks.

It should - rod attached to fork top nut and damper bodby fixed to fork bottom.
