a10 oil tank bracket

Good Morning Can anyone tell me if this oil tank mounting bracket is the right way up?

    I don't think so, mine is fitted the other way around.

Hi, mine is fitted the same way as Bess's, which is the opposite way to that shown in the Dragonfly plates, but is the only way I could get the oil tank to sit where it looks level and comfortable on the rubber pads. I don't know whether it makes a difference but mine is the flat tank (earlier S/A). If anyone knows that my bracket is fitted the wrong way round, I really would be interested to know, because as you can see my the pic, the upper oil pipe comes very close to a nut and the pipe route just doesn't feel right.

     As restorer, I have never been happy with my installation but the tank looks right in the frame.
