Goldstar Twitter Sound

 Dear all,

The famous twitter sound of a Goldstar is well known. My DBD34 is not twittering at all but rides very well. I wonder if you need the right exhaust (mine is a Campell one) or the right carburetor (I am running a 36 mm Delorto) or both?

Anyone out there with an idea?

I think that the cams play a part too . My bb33 hc. with Goldy  silencer does a slight 'twitter' but I have not checked the cams .

A lot depends on the silencer. I have seen a Yamaha single that can twitter after fitting the correct silencer.
