A10SR oil pipes

Hi all
Probably a simple question this time for you guys with the knowledge
I am ready to fit the two main oil pipes ie tank to engine I note they are ferruled ends ( if that's the correct term ) and I cannot see that any seals or washers etc are required in any of the illustrations
Am I correct in thinking they are just face fit ?

Yes oil pipe has raised cone and the fitting has sunken. I believe convex and concave is the right terminology.
