A10 Front brake

How do I get in to the shoes? It's a type 7 hub, does the spindle just knock through?

Presuming it is a full width iron hub (A10 originally had a 8 inch front hub)- undo the large nut at centre of brake plate then the plate can be removed. No need to remove the spindle.
