Does anyone have any pictures of the clutch cable routing for a 62 A50/65.

I think page 2 of this service article from 1965 explains.

Thanks.I have read that before but it doesnt explain the routing around the nacelle area.

Depending on what bars you have its a case of going between the fork stanchions and one or other side of the head stock. The Roy Bacon book shows it (or appears to) going to the drive side of the frame and under the tank but I seem to recall (from many years ago when I had an A65) that more sweeping curves going to the timing side of the head stock and back round in a curve gave a smoother clutch.

Cant really go that way with a nacelle.

OK senior moment, completely wrong metal picture.
The cable runs behind the shroud and then under the front of the tank centre by the head stock.  I seem to recall the cable wears the tank and its quite tricky to get a good line. If you stay to the drive side its a tight bend or cross over to the drive side to get a smoother curve but then you have to come down to get back over the engine.  There some pics in the Roy Bacon book and its also very similar to the late A10s.
A method I used on another bike was to take the tank off and get the cable in the route with the least friction / lightest pull then see how little I could deviate from that once the tank was on. I think I ended up with the cable tied to the stay under the front of the tank.  Not elegant but a nice clutch.

when i was doing my cable i routed itunder the tank clipped to the bottom of the top tube then down at the back left of the carb and curving into engine from there. i would presume the post is still up here in the 'twins' section. the clutch action was easy and precise. no sharp snaggly bends no hard work. i wasn't to everyones liking but it was to mine.
maybe not the orthodox way but tidy and efficient
