Hey all, I've fitted a new chain (from Draganfly) to my B44 '68 build, but to prevent too much sag I've had to move the rear wheel back quite a bit, more to than I'd expect with a new chain as per the pick. Do you think this is the wrong chain?

The Bike has standard cogs 17T front and 47T rear. I could try to remove a link, but worry this will make it too short

Move the wheel to it's fully forward position. Fit the top section of the chain over the sprocket, then fold the next link (pair) of the other end away from the sprocket and see if you can get that end of the chain to fully engage with the sprocket. If it does you can safely shorten the chain to that length. I hope that makes sense.

I see that your adjuster is almost out of threads, so at the limit of it's adjustment.
I would run it for one hour and the chain will stretch a lot.   Then it will be time to remove a link.
After the one hour run-in, the chain won't wear much for the next few thousand miles.
