1968 Firebird.

Various reports on the net say only 250 of these where made but somehow it doesn't seem to hold up under discussion. Any one have any concrete information? Regards Jim

A scan through the despatch books shows around 1700 Firebirds were made for the 1968 season.  This number might be a few off as there are a few odd ones scattered.  Most were made in batches - the first being at the end of 1967 (but "1968" spec, as BSA changed models around September of previous year).
