Greetings.  I'm having yet another bash at rebuilding my 1956 former Home Office B31, and this time I am confident that I will finish the project.  I wrote-off a car with her back in the latter part of the last millennium, and have spent the passing years dreaming of her return to working order.  There have been spurts of costly activity, and I even had the bike reassembled from the steering head backwards - only to find that the steering head and been repaired inaccurately.  The whole bike had to be dismantled again, and the frame repaired again.
Now that distractions such as work and children are behind me, I am picking up from where I left off - but will have to do the painting all over again (Certain members of the East London branch will be saying 'Told you so').

My question is: which shade of green is it that the Home Office used for these bikes?  I was told it was Deep Bronze Green, but that doesn't look right when I look at the paint supplier websites.

Any clues?

I believe Bronze green was an Army colour, I've no idea what Home office colours might be...
