Hi,

Standard vs mushroom.  Which is considered best?

I am using both types.

My lightning has been using mushroom ones for probably 15 years. They work well they also don't seem to cause any recession to the valve tops.

However, IF you want to remove or assemble the rockers (or remove the pushrods) you need to do it with the pushrods in place, otherwise you'll struggle to get the pushrod fitted (they can't unscrew far enough). where with the standard type they should completely unscrew allowing more clearance
