B40 rocker spindle

Does anyone know if the oil way holes in the rocker spindle need to be in line with the banjo's holes or doesn't it matter. Or putting it another way is it possible to install the spindles the wrong way.

It doesn't matter what the orientation of the spindle holes is because the part of the oil pipe that fits over it has a 360 deg gallery into which oil is pumped.
