I have a 62 Road Rocket with round badge. I'm not sure on your GF, there is debate on this.

Are you a BSAOC member Bill?  If so, access the BSAOC website with your surname and member number, then go to 'Library' , 'Library Search' , then pick 'Pre unit A series', then pick 'A series 1960'. You will then have displayed the BSA brochure for 1960 models which shows the A10 was supplied with Pear shaped badges. HTH

I think the pear shaped badge was introduced on the 1959 model.

Bill you may have a tank from a different bike. My 1954 G/F had pear shaped which were wrong. Still looked nice !!
