A10 primary case

Does anybody know if its ok to use the same oil #30 wt. non deter..that I use in the engine, I can use in the primary case? I know it calls for #20 wt. but its getting harder to find..will it slip more?

Loads of people use engine oil in the primary, there was a big thread on this recently. I use automatic gearbox fluid on my A65 and 500 Triumph. no slipping ?
