A65L engin and frame number

Hi before I get in touch with the dating officer can anyone help my log book says my A65L is 1966 and my engine number is A65L146** which it is and my frame number which I cannot find is the same I have been told that it is actually a 1970, can someone shed some light please

If it starts A65L with no other letter then its 1966 season, almost at the end June or July 1966 (a 1967 engine would  start A65LA). The engine and frame number should match.

If it was 1970 the engine number would include a pair of dating numbers as well as model identification.
