A65 Lightning

Hi from newbie in Stafford.

Can anybody advise on a local BSA expert who can do an engineering report / valuation on an A65 lightning?

Would that be something available as part of the club membership?

It would help if you post a picture and some details, year, matching numbers?, is it running?, etc.
Then someone may have guess of the value.
Have you looked on Ebay at similar models?

Hi Nick,
I'm afraid the BSA Owners Club doesn't give valuations as a matter of policy. The way I check on a particular model's value is to keep an eye on ebay auctions  over a period of a few weeks and see what they actually sell for. This is as opposed to classified ads tell that you  what people would like for the machine, not what they sell for.
I check & compare what condition they are in and fairly quickly get a feel for what mine is worth at that time.
If it's a general condition report you are looking for then go along to a club night, North Staffs Branch meet at The Labour in Vain, Yarnfield nr Stone, 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of the month so should be there day after tomorrow. Make yourself known and I'm sure someone there would be up for taking a look and giving some advice.
