B40 silencer

Hi all,

Now that my B40 is running I cannot but notice that it is VERY loud.
It's on a high level pipe with a 'peanut' "silencer" which I think is original BSA and appears to be straight through.

Does anyone know of a shorty silencer which would be a direct replacement but quieter?

Err...no( sorry)..... but my straight through ( non-peanut) B40 possibly original exhaust,  was remarkably louder until I realised the joint between the 2 pipes was a tad loose/ not sealed properly. Have you sucked this egg?
