Gold Star 650 Side stand

I addressed the ridiculously short side stand fitted to Gold Star 650 bikes by adding a 10mm plate to the foot of the side stand, then adding a fillet weld and shaping.  A new coat of paint finished it off.

The bike now leans to a safer, more comfortable angle instead of looking like a puff of wind will knock it over.
