I have the part number but not the knowledge or experience with BSA's. After searching the planet for a tank, i'm gonna have to take a punt on India. This one looks fairly decent given the seller feedback: Is this the right tank for a 67 Spitfire?

If I remember correctly, my spit tank was 5 gallon (imperial).

Thanks for the reply ROYC. Yes, I have read that they changed to 5 gallon tanks in 67 but I've never seen any for sale. I'll keep looking.

That's perfect ROYC, Thanks. I'll contact the Australian one........the Holtworks one is a bit pricey for me.

Hi, sorry for the late response. My 67 mk11 has a breather pipe on the right hand side front of tank. I think this was for models with gp carbs fitted as standard. As for Indian tanks be careful. Check out my previous findings on them

Thanks Rob, I've gone off the idea of Indian made tanks, don't want to take the chance. These tanks are a real nightmare to find!! The Australian chap that Royc found needs 6 to 8 months lead time and Holtworks want close to £800.
