Hi,

I'm trying to identify a bike a relative is on in a picture.  I think it could be a Bantam but I'm not sure.  Seems to have similar style forks.  It's not the best picture to identify.

Something that does stand out for me is the right footpeg is above the exhaust.  Do any early Bantams have that or where they all below the exhaust?  The Harley Hummer was above exhaust and similar forks but the tank doesn't look Harley to me.  Too rounded.

I have only been looking at pics though so I have no real idea.

Any help would be appreciated from the limited info I can give you.

Thank you

Hi
I don't think it's a Bantam.
The headlight is too big, the exhaust header is too long plus the bike  seems somehow too substantial.
Not at all sure what it is though.

It also appears to have a decompressor...

I think that's a pre-war bike with aftermarket post war forks. On the other hand it could be any one of many small cc bikes made in the fifties. Sun Cyclone was one that had upside down forks and a chrome tank. I don't think it's one of these though. They don't have a decompressor and the exhaust is on the left.
