It's not that they don't give a toss, they will make them in small batches. Soon as so many have been pre-ordered they will then make a batch. 70% of which will have been sold and will cover the cost of all of them should the other 30% not sell quickly.

Meanwhile they will be making other things. Arc racing don't just make starters for old tat bikes. They make a lot of parts for the motorsport world too. Also those guys will pay them big bucks and will also be return customers. They will get preferential treatment.. and understandably so.
