Has anybody found an ignition switch to replace the original type but with a better key, more secure and with a key that doesn't fall out?

Normally, the key is retained by the rubber cover as long as it is in good condition. In principle, you could probably replace the switch by an ignition switch off an A65 that uses a proper key but it would take quite a bit of re-wiring.
