Has anyone any tips on how to removing the gear control shaft peg so I can replace one of the Selector forks.

Thanks

I'm no expert on this pre-unit gearbox but the pegs looks to be slightly tapered and presumably an interference fit into the gear control shaft. If they are through holes in the shaft then it should be possible to drift out the pegs with a little heat applied to the shaft to expand it first. If the holes are blind then a little bit of heat while carefully clamping the exposed end of the pegs in a vice or similar and a few taps on the shaft with a soft drift should free it.

This topic was covered fom time ago.. I think they can be drifted out but I can't find it at the moment so best ask  :(
