Hi all. First, the simple one, my dad used plastic cable ties all over the bike. I'm assuming there's we're not used on the 1950s. So what do people use?
Secondly, the cross head screws that hold the front brake and clutch levers onto the handlebars need replacing. Anyone know where I can get them from or at least the thread they will be?

Oh, and third, does the St Albans branch still meet at the Engineer in Harpenden on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month?

Question overload, but thanks in advance.
Ian.
Things to do:
1. Learn to start a B31        *DONE*
2. Get a motorcycle license  *DONE*
2b. Rebuild carb & dyanmo
2c. Fit indicators
3. Hit the open road...

The original levers made by Amal and BSA, which had a simple slot not a cross head, had 1 BA screws for the clamps. Some repro items will probably have different threads.

Depending on the year - rubber cable ties, Dunlop or John Bull type or later ones alloy ties of you want original.
