Hi All. I'm trying to return my Blue Star to original type of twist grips.  Could anyone supply a photo showing the style of cable barrel/nipple that's required to fit these twist grips?  Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks, Pete

This is from Amal in 1935, it may give some idea.

Hi Julian.
Thanks for your reply.
I think the Amal set-up differs slightly to the BSA one that I have got.  From your illustration, the nipple looks a bit like a 'blob' on the end of the inner cable, so i'll go with that as a starting point but if anyone can supply a photo, that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Attached is a rough drawing of the nipple connection as fitted to both my 1932 G32/12 and 1937 Y13 straight pull twistgrips. Hope this helps. Regards
Alan

Thanks Alan.    All the information is coming together, slowly but surely.
