Title: Split metering pin
Post by: AdrianS on 30 Sep, 2020, 17:23
In preparation for my engine strip, the WSM mentions a split metering pin in the oil supply to the rockers.
I have searched and cannot find any diagrams of it or description other than calling it a split metering pin.
Can anyone enlighten me and explain how to check or replace it or is it patently obvious when I start to dismantle?

Assuming an A65? Please see attached.. It is as described, a split pin fed through the rocker oil delivery pipe and held in place to meter the oil flow. Crude but effective..

You have a parts manual, yes?  It's 60-2684

It doesn't show one for the early A50/65 on the Draganfly site.
