Title: Bsa b33 1946/48 kickstart shaft sizes
Post by: Norton650 on 23 Sep, 2020, 21:03
Hi can anyone tell me the kickstart shaft size for a bsa b33 1946/48 gearbox as I'm having trouble with sloppy kickstart my shaft measure 18.63 mm and I've tried 3 different kickstart and all sloppy 2 of the 3 fit my a65 fine but the folding one off ebay is no good as cotter pin just slides straight through

I have a 1946 B31. I don't know if the kickstart lever is the same on your B33.

Without taking the kickstart off, the diameter of the kickstart hole at the front is 19mm. Does that help?

My 1949 B33 measures 0.075 inches or 19.05mm. I only have a 1949 to 1953 parts book so I don't know if the parts are the same for earlier years.
