Title: 1952 A10 Plunger Frame.
Post by: 5imon on 03 Sep, 2020, 14:44
I am at the stage of applying a finish to my frame. My question is should I bolt the two halves of the frame together before painting or should I paint the two halves separately and bolt them together after painting?

mine was done in one piece, this means the bolts are sprayed over. what I would do is take it apart and check joints then re bolt. if you take it in two parts you have the paint build up on the adjacent faces which might need cleaning back off or thinning out to get it to bolt back together again
