Just out of interest, has any of you with a B31/B33 installed a Gold Star exhaust with the offset baffle to get that Brrrrrrrrr sound when rolling back the throttle. I was just wondering if you get the same type of sound on a B31. Its a bit expensive if it don't.

Back in the 60s I had a genuine Gold Star silencer on my B31 and that certainly had a twitter on the over run.

my gold star had a very limited twitter with the monobloc fitted . Now the GP has been re-fitted the twitter is back in ernest . Not all down to the silencer .

I had a B31 in the sixties with a Goldie silencer, it sounded fabulous on the over run, I also have one on my current B33 and that sounds just like a B33?
