Title: Tank badge screws
Post by: DEDGE on 28 Jun, 2020, 18:23
Hi All
Just fitting new tank badges to my 1950 B31 petrol tank. They are 5ba raised head countersunk. They are only ¼ inch long and the beginning of the taped hole is damaged. Has anyone found any longer ones, about ½ inch or so.
Thank you
Dedge

I've bought BA screws off eBay myself.. If they're longer obviously just cut them to the length you require.. HTH

I think you will find the screws should be 4BA 5/8" long, the book states 1/8" 40 Whitworth Fine, which is basically the same as 4BA and I have just used these on a recent rebuild.
