Post by: wickedwazza on 11 Jun, 2020, 15:52
Hi, i recently recived a 1925 3.49hp bike but was missing the carburetor, can someone advise the orginal make, model. I belive it was a AMAC but there is no mention in the parts manual of the carb for any 1925 models?

Thanks

Hi Warren
I am restoring (slowly) a 2.49 hp round tank.
I have managed to get a 1925 copy of 'The book of the BSA', which is a kind of owners manual for all Models made in 1925. According to this AMAC carbs were fitted to all models, but it gives very little detailed information. There is a sketch as follows
I do have an AMAC carb and will post more info when I have examined and taken it apart.
Let me know if you manage to find more info- there must be an AMAC manual somewhere.
Cheers
Steve

Is this of any use?   Mr Google is your friend!
