Does anyone use the O rings in the head gasket to provide extra sealing to the front oil drain holes?
Not specified for all models and they are not always in gasket sets.
A65s also had valve/valve guide seals at some point. Does anyone use those?

I used to until I got hold of a handful of NOS head gaskets. They are about 5 thou thicker and seem to crush better than the after market ones. Now I just make sure the barrel surface is dead flat (amazing how many aren't) and same with the head. I don't even use any kind of goo on the gasket, just anneal it, remove as much crud/oxides as possible from the annealing process and fit. I had some head nuts which required constant re-tightening but after fitting the SRM headbolt Set it hasn't needed adjusting once.
