Hi. I'm new to this forum, this is my first post.
I bought this B40 just a week ago.

Looks like a very nicely restored B40!

It is indeed. As far as i know its not been ridden since being restored. It still needs running in. I'm having difficulty starting it at the moment but I'm hoping that a new spark plug will solve that.
Title: B40 frame question
Post by: TonyLear on 07 Jun, 2023, 09:01
I am restoring a B40.
There is some damage to the sidestand mounting point and rear left foot peg mount.
Question.
Does the foot peg mount touch the swing arm as does the right foot peg mount?

It realy does look like a nice restoration, and nobody has talked to you since 2017 (strange). If i want to be realy picky it looks like the oil tank transfers are on a little wonky.      As for the question of the swinging arm touching the at the rear peg mounts, iv just put a b40 frame together and my swing arm touches as well, only just.    You say you have only had the bike one week, hows it going now.
