The handlebars presently fitted to my C-15 seem rather wide at 31". Is there a 'standard' size?, I suppose I could cut couple of inches of each end.

I have an original pair of handle bars on my C15 and they are 27 inches wide.

Make sure before cutting that you have got room for controls and grips near any bends before cutting :(
