Title: BSA BM33 Nuts and Bolts List?
Post by: Barrieh on 06 Apr, 2020, 17:39
Hi,

RE: 1955 BSA BM33 Plunger - Does anyone have a list of all the nuts and bolts needed for this rebuild. I have all the schematics but am looking to speed up the process.

Many thanks
Hamish

Hi Hamish

I have a list of the nuts and bolts used when I worked on my B31 1954 plunger. It's too big a file to post here, but send me your e-mail and I'll send it to you.
The price lists supplied by Burton Bike BIts often include the dimensions of bolty, studs etc, well worth a look.

Cheers
Pete

I also have an M33 plunger; built in late '53. The previous owner gave me a parts book (is that what you mean by schematics?) and it lists the standard nuts, bolts, and washers used, together with their dimensions and BSA part numbers. The parts book in the member's area (different from mine) of the website also has this. There are a few metric fixings on my bike, which I am gradually replacing.

For general nuts, bolts, and washers, I go to Nookys Nuts:
